Import notes for Grenada
Before you buy
- Vehicles 10 years old and over may not enter Grenada (SRO 43 of 2020). Such a vehicle is seized and the importer fined. Exemptions are only for farm tractors and vehicles for disabled persons (with the Minister's written permission).
- Grenada drives on the left, so choose a right-hand drive car.
At the port
- Older used cars pay a higher environmental levy. Ask your customs broker for the full cost (duty, levy, VAT and fees) of the exact car before you accept a quotation.
Documents to keep
- The official invoice from BE FORWARD, the bill of lading and the export certificate.
